Do You Understand The Operating Procedures Of Colloid Mill?
May 20, 2025| I. Operating Procedures
1. Preparation:
(1) Check the cleanliness of the colloid mill and the integrity of each component.
(2) Prepare a container for holding materials.
(3) Check the gap between the fixed teeth and the rotating teeth to ensure that the gap is not at the minimum state. Clockwise (looking down) is for smaller adjustment, and counterclockwise is for larger adjustment.

2. Turn on the machine: Turn on the power.
3. Grinding: First rinse the pipe with clean water. When the outflowing water is clear, switch to adding materials. First, let a small amount of material flow into the lower hopper, adjust the gap adjustment sleeve, and determine the grinding gap (be careful not to get stuck).
4. Cleaning: After the grinding is completed, adjust the gap to the maximum, clean the pipe with pure water above 90°C for 5 minutes, and stop the machine only after the material residue and hot water are drained.
5. Shutdown: Cut off the power supply and clean the surrounding area of the instrument and equipment.
II. Precautions
1. When the machine is running, pay attention to check the temperature of each part and do not open it for a long time.
2. After use, clean the inside and outside of the equipment in time to ensure clean water handover.
3. Before and after use, clean the pipes with pure water above 90°C.
4. Cut off the power immediately if any problem occurs.
