How Do Colloid Mill Manufacturers Debug Colloid Mills?

May 20, 2025|

The debugging of the colloid mill includes the connection of the inlet and outlet of the colloid mill, the start-up of the power supply, the adjustment of the grinding disc gap, the start-up and shutdown of the colloid mill, and the cleaning of the colloid mill after use. Only the colloid mill that has passed the debugging can be packed and shipped.

1. Check the appearance of the colloid mill to see if the funnel, circulation pipe, motor, and base of the colloid mill are deformed, have obvious scratches or defects.

2. Connect the funnel, circulation pipe, and discharge port of the colloid mill to check if there are any loose or loose parts.
3. Adjust the grinding disc gap of the colloid mill, turn the dial of the colloid mill by hand, and check whether the dial can adjust the fineness of the grinding head normally.
4. Turn on the colloid mill, use water as the medium, and test the machine to check whether the colloid mill can operate normally.
5. Open the discharge valve and discharge the water from the discharge port. The commissioning is complete.
All parts of the colloid mill that come into contact with the material are made of food-grade 304/316L stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, making the processed materials less likely to be contaminated and sanitary. It is a good equipment for processing food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
