What are the requirements for raw materials of food extruder?
1. Moisture content

2. Particle size
The particle size of the raw material is another key factor. The size and shape of the particles will determine how easily they flow through the extruder. The raw material should be ground or ground to a specific size suitable for the extruder. Most extruders require particle sizes between 100 and 300 microns. If the particles are too large, the dough will not form properly; If they are too small, they will create a rough texture in the final product.
